Tuition & Fees

Kindergarten - Eighth Grade

Annual tuition for students in grades K-8 is $9,500. Each student is also responsible for an additional $750 facility fee each year.

You may have the opportunity to qualify for full financial aid for all tuition and fees. (See below.)

Annual registration fees are $25 per student.

Harambee Christian Preschool accepts PFCC (Publicly Funded Child Care, previously known as Title 20) for tuition. To determine if you qualify, utilize this self-assessment tool.  Families that do not qualify for PFCC must pay tuition out of pocket. 

A limited number of part-time preschool seats are also available:

  • 3 Day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:30-11:30 AM

  • 2 Day on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-11:30 AM

  • Tuition for two-day students is $45 per week.

  • Tuition for three-day students is $60 per week.

  • Tuition for full-time students is  $180 per week.

The K-5 After School Program (ASP) exists to provide targeted academic tutoring and homework help for students. There is a quarterly fee of $250 for enrolled students. If a student withdraws within the first two weeks of any quarter, families will receive an 80% refund of the quarterly fee. 

Effective the 2023-24 school year, Harambee

is a Qualified Education Service Provider for

Ohio's Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE)

Program.  Families will be able to utilize

ACE funding to cover the cost of enrollment

in the After School Program.

Financial Aid 

The Ohio EdChoice Scholarship

The EdChoice Scholarship Program provides up to 60,000 state-funded scholarships to students who attend low-performing public school buildings. The scholarship must be used to attend private schools that meet requirements for program participation.

Who qualifies for EdChoice?

The following students are eligible to apply for EdChoice Scholarship:

  • Students currently attending a designated public school in their resident district;

  • Students attending a public school in their resident district who will be assigned to one of the designated public schools for the upcoming school year;

  • Students currently attending a charter/community school whose assigned home school is a designated public school building;

  • Students eligible to enter kindergarten for fall of the upcoming school year (and who will be age 5 by January 1st of that school year) who would be assigned to one of the designated public schools; or

  • Students enrolling in an Ohio school for the first time who would be assigned to one of the designated public schools for the upcoming school year,

The following students are eligible to apply for EdChoice Expansion scholarship:

  • Students eligible to enter kindergarten, first, or second grade whose assigned home school is not a designated public school building;

  • whose family income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
